Week 2 (The Broken Script Challenge)

1 min read

It's me again. Week two. How many times did you almost say "open concept" and have to bite your tongue? Hopefully at least three. That little pause — the one where you hunt for a real word instead of a zombie phrase — that's the sound of you becoming interesting. Your old scripts were a warm blanket, I get it. But warm blankets don't win multiple offers. Honest, slightly weird sentences do. "The kitchen is small but the coffee smells better in here" beats "efficient galley kitchen" every single time.

You're not here to sound like every other agent. You're here to sound like you. So here's your accountability nudge: go listen to that sixty‑second recording you made this week. Yes, the one you've been avoiding. Did you cringe? Good. That means you care. Did you hear a banned word? Then you owe your Venmo buddy five bucks. Pay it with pride. You're learning. Now go rewrite one listing description without the word "potential." I dare you.
